Coming home to yourself…
Have you ever experienced a life change, trauma, or loss that you simply can’t make sense of? That shakes your sense of solid ground? That makes it hard to be present in your body? To stay connected to what and whom you care about most? I hold sacred space for your journey home to your deepest sense of self.
“The moment in between what you once were, and who you are now becoming, is where the dance of life really takes place.”
― Barbara De Angelis
Diving Deep With Somatic Psychotherapy
You may have had a lot of success in talk therapy and want to go deeper into the body to process grief and trauma. You may just not like talk therapy and want to try something more active or experiential. You may not know what you’re looking for but nature and spirituality help you feel more connected. Together, we can use that connection as guidance for your journey inward.
Psychotherapy is a journey of unwinding patterns from the past and reprocessing them in the body for deeper change in the present. I work with clients experiencing complex trauma, grief, chronic pain, relationship issues, and more. Clients co-create a process of personal transformation, reclaiming wholeness, and gaining self-trust.
I draw from ecotherapy, somatics, parts work, attachment-focused EMDR, and earth-based spirituality to help you reconnect to a sense of inner guidance. We build bridges of connection to your body, sense of self, relationships, and the earth.
“These mountains you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb.”

Sessions may include…
Creating Sacred Space
We start with what you love, explore your gifts, and connect to your sense of guidance through deep listening and ritual.
Reprocessing Memories
We reprocess stuck memories using parts work and bilateral stimulation so that the mind and body can support our natural state of wholeness.
Grounding & Resourcing
We explore mindfulness, body-based and imaginal tools to get grounded in the present moment and regulate the nervous system.
Leaning into Transformation
We notice fear and contraction in the body and meet it with body movements that help transform stuck energy and experience into something new.
Noticing Embodied Patterns
We bring compassionate awareness to challenging emotions, parts, memories, and relational patterns from the past.
Integration & Honoring Cycles
We integrate new experiences, recognize change, explore values & meaning, and celebrate the wholeness of our cycles with ritual and expression.
What is the difference between psychotherapy, somatic coaching, and ecotherapy?
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a journey of unwinding patterns from the past and reprocessing them in the body for deeper change in the present. I work with clients experiencing complex trauma, grief, chronic pain, and more. Clients co-create a process of personal transformation, reclaiming wholeness, and gaining self-trust.
-
While psychotherapy can include somatic tools and relationship to nature, the emphasis is on our connection to the self and reprocessing our personal experiences so that we can have more acceptance and compassion for the wholeness of our being. There may be slightly more verbal processing than in other kinds of sessions.
-
During an initial consultation, we’ll explore what you’d like to work on. Clients are encouraged to continue work for as long as is helpful for you.
-
We often start with letting the body slowly lead us into clients deeper patterns. From there, there is often a reciprocal exchange of moving past material through the body and allowing a new narrative to emerge in the present.
-
We are always healing and sometimes you don’t know where the journey will take us. I collaborate with clients to move at your pace and hold space for both the acceptance of where you’re at as well as the commitment to where you want to go.
Somatic Coaching
Somatic coaching is a present-oriented, skill based, and experiential way to welcome more vitality in the body and peace of mind. I work with clients who may be feeling stressed, burnt out, disconnected, and dysregulated. Clients gain a toolbox of skills to increase their ability to be present and regulated.
-
While somatic coaching can help deepen our connection to a sense of self and allow you to be more present in our relationships to other people and the earth, the focus is on being more present and compassionate in our bodies. Sessions are less about the stories we tell ourselves and more about what the body is trying to communicate.
-
During an initial consultation, we’ll discuss goals and determine an appropriate length of work. Work often starts with 3-6 weekly or bimonthly sessions.
-
We start wherever you are in your body and work experientially from there.
-
During the initial consultation, we identify some goals and together we map out some skills and experiences that may help you get there.
Ecotherapy
Ecotherapy utilizes our connection to the earth to explore who we are, what matters to us, and how we relate. I work with clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, hopeless or lost in their lives and over the state of the world. Clients reconnect to the cycles of the earth for insight, meaning, and belonging.
-
While ecotherapy can reconnect us to our bodies and a vast sense of self, there is more of a focus on how we relate in general. I see myself as a co-therapist with the earth and together we explore how you see your connection to other beings and the ecosystem more broadly.

Sometimes clients come to a session with a specific topic and other times we just explore where it goes. Ecotherapy can feel a lot like play and often unfolds organically. Clients are often surprised at the experience they walk away with.
